The company missing-pen was founded in May 2002 by Rolf Thiel. At this point in time, he could already look back on years of experience because of his activities in the family-run stationery business.
We see ourselves as a global company that lives service and customer proximity. Here on the homepage you will find new products from selected and high-quality manufacturers. In our eBay shop the writing instrument lover from businessman to the one-time buyer will find what they are looking for.
We are also happy to supply customers with larger quantities of goods.
We see conscientious and swift processing of your order as a matter of course.
I originally come from the craft industry. I have been working as a freelancer at missing-pen since 2020 and it has been my full-time job since the beginning of 2021. There I am responsible for product photography, marketing and private customer care, among other things.
"Working at missing-pen is incredibly fun and brings new challenges every day. My motivation is to never stand still."
boss, founder and owner
In the summer of 1986 I started an apprenticeship as a retail salesman at my parents' stationery shop and worked there for 16 years.
In 2002 I founded the company missing-pen and since then I enjoy working independently every day. So I've been in the writing instrument industry for 35 years now. When you have such good employees, you no longer need yourself as a boss feel so important ... ;-)
"It's always a lot of fun to contribute ideas to work every day and implement. If customers are happy with their purchases from us, we have ours Goal achieved."
I've been bringing my ideas into the family business since 2014 and I've been looking forward to working with my brother and uncle since 2021!
I take care of purchasing and major customers; I would continue to describe myself as an all-rounder and help where I am needed. The preservation of our identity from missing-pen with constant, contemporary development is my wish for the future!
"Selling high-quality and beautiful writing instruments means for me to be able to pass on a value for life. I consider it a privilege to be able to please a customer!"
I'm the newest member of the missing-pen team. The company gives me the opportunity to develop myself further. The main part of my job in the family business consists of product photography.
"The smallest details make the biggest difference."
